Alex Schneiter
Initiator and manager of Team Tilt. Former participant in the Mini-Transat and Figaro.
Alex Scheiter was named Skipper of the Year in 1987. Mainly active on Lake Geneva where he won the Multicoque Trophy in M2 and the Bol d'Or six times (three times on multihulls). (three times on multihulls, three times in the mono category). He also holds the “Ruban Violet" for his monohull record around Lake Geneva. Today Alex dedicates most of his of his time to youth development on D35 and GC32 catamarans and to participate in the next the next Youth America's Cup in 2017 (Team Tilt already managed an excellent fourth place at the 2013 Youth America’s Cup). As president of the "Swiss Sailing Team," he is also involved in the Olympic participation Team Tilt directly supports three Olympic projects. In his professional life, Alex is CEO of Lundin Petroleum.
