Bruno Trouble

The former favorite skipper of Baron Bich has been sailing heart and soul since childhood, from dinghies to America's Cup yachts to classics. As an Olympic participant in the Flying Dutchman, he finished sixth in Mexico in 1968. With France III, he achieves the best result of a French challenger in the America's Cup. In the mid-70s, he meets Baron Bich, who appoints him helmsman of his racing yachts. In 1983, he founded the Louis Vuitton Cup and has organized the preliminary competition ever since.

Sailing as a passion runs in Troublé's family: his sister, fashion designer Agnès B., is the owner of the expedition yacht Tara (ex-semester of Sir Peter Blake), on which his son Romain skippers. Bruno's own yacht(a Farr 70) is based in Venice.
