Luca Bassani Antivari is the head, heart, and soul of the Wally philosophy, an innovative concept that revolutionized the yachting scene in the 1990s - and continues to amaze today with each new Wally.
Owner and Skipper of several yachts, including the IOR yacht Phantom, one of the first maxi yachts of its time. Winner of the Mediterranean Championship in 1972 and the Two Ton Cup in the same year. 15 years of regatta sailing in the 6-meter class (2x European Champion 1986/1990 and 3rd place at the World Championship 1983). In 1979 Bassani introduces the J24 boats in and sails on this type of boat until 1987. Skipper and helmsman in the Mumm 30 class, World Champion 1998, 2nd place in the European Championship. Luca Bassani is married and the father of three children.
