His great passion is kitesurfing. Today, he can already call himself a world champion, something he would never have dreamed of in 2014 during the autumn vacations in Egypt when it all began. At that time, his father put him on the board and he quickly started to excel. Gian Andrea progressed rapidly and pushed himself harder and harder. Soon, school vacations became kite vacations. Ten years ago, he stood for the first time on a Hydrofoil, which starts to glide even in the weak wind conditions in Switzerland. Hydrofoiling has since become an Olympic sailing class. He started racing in this kitefoil class. In 2022, he took his first European and World Championship titles in the U17 category. This year, he will be 16 years old and already competes in the U21 category, where he easily keeps up. In May, he managed to secure the 3rd place at the European championship.
